 UNSW OWeek
Since I'm going to be a first year uni student (I can hear you guys shouting NOOB already. hahah), I decided to go to the UNSW O-Week on Monday and Thursday.
The main reason why I chose to go on those days was not to see Channing Tatum, rather, I was more keen to go on the days where most of my faculty presentations and events were on. And of course, I would never be bothered to rock up at uni for 5days in a row. LOL

Anyways within the two days that I turned up, turned out to be pretty much just signing up to clubs and grabbing freebies. In terms of info and such, don't expect too much of it.
Also! On Monday, I went along with Benson and Zahav and Zahav brought us to the Whitehouse. A nice little on campus eatery with nice gourmet food and drinks (yes, there's even something for the alcoholics - ZAHAV!). andddd .. wait for it.... board games! So if you're into nibbling on wedges while sipping on a cold beer with your other hand occupied on a piece of jenga block, then this is quite a nice place to chill between your breaks. heheh I also ended up catching up with Angela here on Thursday after a long day of joining charity clubs!

And even though we had bad weather the weekend before O-Week, the sun came out to play during the week so we had great weather for this event! It was so hot that most of us were literally melting - makeup wise I mean. (:

Yeahhh that's it! There were heaps of people, freebies (like 5bags full!) and clubzzzsssss to join! YAY! I guess it's worth it for first years to come along and get used to the campus and such, but I'll probably just be going for a day next year - just for the freebies. heheh. (:

 Vday(II)
So today was our second Valentine's Day together and it all began this morning when Benson surprisingly rocked up to my house in his new car and red P plates. It had turned out that he had passed his driver's license test and he wanted me to be his first passenger - also he had wanted to asap take me to places that are usually hard to get to via public transport. heheh he's so sweet - to the point where he burnt a specific CD with music just for me. > w <

After I had gotten ready, he told me that we were going to Bronte Beach and so I packed my bag, got the GPS going and set off to the sunny coast of Bondi/Bronte. However, I found out that I didn't have any sunscreen left, so we had to drive to the nearest supermarket to grab a bottle - I ended up going to BigW for the Neutrogena dry touch sunscreen with SPF30+ since to me, it feels better than any other sunscreen out there in the Australian market (I usually buy sunmilk from Japan as they dry clear and feels like nothing).
It became extremely sunny when we began our trip and the traffic wasn't so bad so we managed to get to our destination in under an hour (even though we did accidentally skip some directions from the GPS). After we arrived at the beach, we parked our car on the main hill which allowed for 1hr parking with the cost of $5.50 and this was like a 1min walk from the beach so it was alright.

- image -

We walked towards the little white shelters on the beach and started to put sunscreen on each other. After getting sun safe, we walked near where the lifeguard sat and put our stuff down before approaching the sea. But we soon found out that there were bluebottles washed up near the shore recently and so we had to be very careful to not get stung. Benson piggy backed me past the area where the most bluebottles were washed up on and after that we just ran across the wet sand with the waves and enjoyed our time in the sun. (:

-image -

Benson had started to get hungry near the time when our parking permit expired and so we decided to head towards Bondi Junction for lunch!
We parked our car inside Bondi Westfields as it was free parking for 2hrs and made our way to find a nice little restaurant to have some food. We ended up eating at Ichi-Ban Boshi and I ordered an Iced Coffee with Kimuchi Ramen while Benson ordered a Negumi? Ramen and an Iced Lemon Tea. The food was not too bad but Benson did complain that it was basically a huge bowl of just noodles with 1 piece of meat - even though the noodles have a very nice texture and the soup was fantastic! Also, the Iced Coffee did just taste like instant coffee with milk and ice - I preferred the Iced Lemon Tea a lot more.

- image -

After getting stuffed with ramen, we just walked around Bondi until the shops kinda started to close before we made our way home. Andddd that was basically how I spent my Valentine's Day. (:
Even though it's not the usual roses and dinner, I was extremely happy to see that Benson just went about his usual display of affection and surprises. hehe
Warning: Extreme personal P.O.V so you're really not obliged to take any of my words.
Because to me, it means more than any bouquet, chocolate or bear as it proves that he knows who I am and what I prefer - as I have said before: "What makes the 365th day more special than the 1st? or the 273rd for that matter? It's only a measurement of time and if you love someone, it really shouldn't matter. Every second should be spent with affection and treasured with the same amount of significance as they are all experiences you have shared together." However, there is of course nothing wrong with celebrating Valentine's Day and Anniversaries, because in reality, us girls like to be showered with excess love and gifts - as long as we both enjoy ourselves and know what really matters. I'm no expert and to be honest I really am just bsing here but all I'm saying is that, no one should get caught up with measuring time and gifts - so if your special someone do forget a 'special day' (which I often do), don't get angry at them and just know that at that very moment, they might just be caught up in thinking of where to take you next to sweep you off your feet; just trying to make every moment you share together a memorable one. (:
hahahs I hope that didn't offend anyone but that is just how I operate and I am very thankful that Benson accepts this part of me. :D

Anyways.. I think this is getting a little too long and I'm just rambling on with boring non necessary talk.
So I'll leave you guys at that and hope everyone had as much fun as I did on Valentine's Day 2012!
xox~
Annie.

*did I also mention that my dad bought my mum a bouquet of roses? lols. How cute right? :D

 Under the weather~
Sydney's been having a very Cloudy/Rainy Summer... so I've also gotten quite sick lately therefore I've been mostly a hermit at home.. painting..

But today I decided to go out with Benson just to get some fresh air into my lungs.
mm I got to Central at around 2pm cause Benson had to go to tvb station to complain about his subscription beforehand. After we met up, we went to Chat Thai for brunch and as I've mentioned before, they've added new additions to the menu and most of the prices for the food increased by $1 but it's still good.
I had Yen Ta For - wide rice noodle with pork and seafood in a nice red looking salty soup - $10.90 and Benson had Chicken: Pad See Ew and Chilli Fried Rice for $9.90 and $11.90 respectively. We also ordered 6 Pork Skewers - $2 each.

checking twitter and my Yen Ta For (taken by bubs)

After our very filling meal, we headed towards Pitt St Mall where we roamed around the shops and bought some stuff from Cotton On since we had a $30 gift card. Benson bought 2 T-Shirts and I just bought a plain Singlet. It was a funny experience since he told me to choose the prints for him and all I picked were shirts with the naked or partially naked girls on them. (:

We also found a new (kinda) food court inside Pitt St Mall! It's literally like.. the most expensive food court in Sydney.. but it was nearly empty when we got there.. o.o; It's basically like a hugeee, nicely decorated place with barely anyone eating there. Though this might have been because it was nearly 4pm? The restaurants there included but was not limited to: Chat Thai, Ding Tai Fung, Max Brenners and a really neat little dessert cafe in the middle which has really exquisite chocolate for sale.
Anyways as we finished walking around Pitt St Mall, we just went to Kinokuniya and sat down to chill with some Pokemon Mangas. Benson also bought some stuff from there while I got myself a few classics since they were only $9.95 each.

After that, we just both headed home as it was starting to get late.
As I got home, I found 2 packages! 1 from OzSale and the other from SaSa.
It turned out that my IHana 13 piece brush set ($75AUD; rrp $249AUD) and my Caudalie skincare set + other skin care stuff ($75.40USD) had arrived.
I'm super excited to try the stuff out and do a thorough review of the items because I've tried the mini set from IHana from a BrandsExclusive order before and it turned out to be fantastic! Super durable, amazingly soft, doesn't shed but did have a funny scent in the beginning- the hair are natural goat hair and handles are made out of natural hard lacquered wood; they also have a vegan 17 brush set. On the other hand Caudalie is a French skincare line that focuses their products around grapes as their products use the antioxidant power of grape seed polyphenols to provide skin protection against free radicals - I got nearly all their products for around $10 (rrp $30-40USD) each during the massive sale Sasa had on during CNY so I'm super happy about that deal.

Anyways, I have to go take my medicine and get some rest now...
Toodles!

 TARONGA ZOO
So today was my 14th month with bubbi! hahahs and so he took me to one of his surprise outings again. yay!
It was extremely sunny when we arrived at the City at 12pm and in order to not let me know where we were going, he sent me off to buy icecream from Gelatissimo at Circular Quay while he bought the ferry tickets. I managed to pop his bubble and guessed that we were going to Taronga Zoo after I came back with the icecream. heheh

Anyways as we arrived at the wharf, we took the free shuttle bus up to the top entrance of the Zoo. We then bought our tickets and headed towards the reptile area. We ended up just trying to spot all the animals, almost like a where's waldo game because most of the reptiles would try to camouflage with the surrounding backgrounds. lols
OH! We also saw a Komodo Dragon feeding on a pig's leg. It smelt very bad but it was funny seeing it struggle to eat the huge piece of meat because we were voicing over what the reptile was thinking: "dude just stop looking at me. I'm just trying to eat" LOL! :D

When we finished looking at the reptiles, we saw a huge free running turkey on the fence and so I chased after it until it hid in the bush with another turkey. Unfortunately, Benson had to chase after me who was chasing after the turkey and people were staring like us as if we were freakos. :S
And so after that, we ended up in the giraffe area where I took a photo with the 2m tall baby giraffe statue. We also found out that I was around 166cm and Benson was 175cm. :DD
After giraffes, we went to see chimpanzees in display at the outside playground area. One was very aggressive and kicked the visitor glass that was shielding us away from the animals. It was literally like a ninja kick in the air and it made such a loud sound that everyone thought the glass was going to creak. Luckily it didn't and it only frightened some of the guests causing them to run backwards. hahahs.
We also tried to get a look at the male elephants but they were not on display. Instead I just took a photo of Benson and the tusk of the elephant who last stayed in the elephant temple.

Another area we visited after was the kids animal farm where we saw general farm animals like pigs, goats and chickens. But then we encountered rabbits and guinea pigs! :DDDD
There were even baby rabbits and guinea pigs!! x))

I got extremely hungry so we headed to the food court for something to munch on. Unfortunately it was already too late and all the food stores were closed. ):
Since it was nearly 5pm - the closing time of the zoo and we were both starving, Benson suggested that we head back to the City to grab food. And so, we headed out with the announcement from the zoo saying that they were gonna close. On our way out, we saw deer looking animals. The zoo has changed the display area since the last time I was at the zoo 2yrs ago as they covered the outer part of the fence with bamboo to stop people from getting too close to the animals. The "deers" were able to balance on the weirdest parts of a huge rock and we even saw one pushing another one out of its resting spot and then chasing after the other deer trying to flirt with it. hahahs.
And at the final part of the exit inside the souvenir shop, a seal was showing off and interacting with the guests behind the glass. It was quite a sight and he was very adorable.

As we arrived at the City, we headed towards Chat Thai for lunch/dinner and since it was nearly 6pm, they were full of people with a long waiting line. As we were waiting for our table, some ladies looked at the waiting list trying to figure out when they will get their table. Instead they read our "guest name" and was said out loud "WHO'S MIKE HUNT??" and we both giggled like little school girls. ((:
We finally got a table after around 30-45mins of waiting and had the "yummiest dinner everrr" quote Benson.O

First Day of Last School Term
It wasn't as bad as I thought. But Kogarah was certainly much more colder, like the wind was "icy" and I was just shivering the whole day. And everything seemed to past quite slow today.. compared to the holidays at least.
And I ended up working through my 2 free periods and lunch! *feels good

We finish early by half an hour on Tuesdays and since Zahav (childhood friend for 10yrs!) texted me to catch up after school, I went to meet up with him and we had our chat over a cup of coffee at Gloria Jeans.
((:

And now I'm home at 5pm, just before it rained as well! :D

receiving pretty dress = my sunshine on a rainy day!
It's raining cats and dogs in Sydney right now and surprisingly it got really dark at around 4pm. o.o;
Anyways, the mailman dropped off my order from ASOS today.. in the rain... outside my house.
But luckily, he placed it on the veranda where the parcel was able to keep dry! (:
It felt heavy.. and when I say heavy.. I mean like.. >1kg.
As soon as it was in my hands, I ripped it open..
and squealed like a little girl who got her first barbie doll...
not really. but you get the gist. :D

Inside was ..
ONE OF MY PROM DRESSES!
It's a dress from the brand Forever Unique.
It's like the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life. (other than Benson.. cheeseeeee*)
Priced at US$498.56, I managed to purchase it at GBP£100 (free shipping). Pretty amazing if you ask me.

It is extremely well made and all the stitchings and embellishments are perfectly sewn.
Materials include:
- Main: 100% Nylon
- Lining: 100% Terylene

I had to buy the dress in a size UK8 (AU 8-10) because they only have one stock of every size from 6-12 and when I looked for 6 (AU 6-8), I found out that every other size was sold out. ):
But luckily, because the size is still within the AU8 category, this dress fits like a charm!

Attached to the tag of this dress was a very pretty blue silk pocket with the extra straps and embellishment beads! - Even the packaging was more high-end. :O

What I really loved about this dress was how special it looked. There are even sparkles on the black petticoat! Nothing I've seen in any retail stores in Australia. If you're able to find something like this here, then it'd most probably cost a fortune (since Australian retails jack up their prices by an average of 300%).

But yeah.. I'm just totally in love! ♥♥♥

 WALKATHON!
Today we had our annual school Walkathon, a day where yr12s get to set up our own stalls and sell goodies while the other years ask for sponsors and then walk to a beach at San Souci (10km)! This is a tradition of St Georgians and the money fundraised is used improve certain things around the school, decided by the SRC group.

Usually we would set up our stalls at the park near the beach but since the past few days have had such bad weather, the school decided today was going to be rainy as well so they made us set up at school and get the girls to walk back to school from the beach instead. But guess what. TODAY WAS A PERFECTLY SUNNY DAY! )):
But then again.. I guess it's better in a way that we don't have to move the tables back and forth by car and stuff so it was all good.

Our stalls were reviewed by the prefects and they included fun activities like nail art, tattooing, jump castles etc. As well as yummy food and drink stalls with pizza, cookies, Korean rice cakes, soft drinks, easy way and such! Our stall consisted of both food and drink! We were lucky enough to get sponsored by Baker's Delight (Rockdale) and Gloria Jeans (Rockdale) and were able to sell yummy freshly baked bread and refreshingly tasty Italian Soda! Our group consisted of 8 people including: Mish Lu, Mish Liang, Catherine.Z, Liza.W, Vicki.T, FiTao, Ellen.C and I! While the two Mishes were in charge of collecting the money, Catherine, Liza, Vicki and Fitao were responsible for the bread selling. That leaves Ellen and I with the job of making the awesome Italian Soda! :9

The Italian soda was a great success and with the meal deals, we were able to sell out super fast! In fact we finished like three hours in advance! :D
There was a profit of a total of over $150 and so we finished the day early with a few photos and headed to Liza's apartment to watch White Chicks!

 depressing
My heart goes out to all the people affected by the devastating earthquake in Japan.
We're starting to get more natural disasters these days.. it's what happens when human beings take advantage of mother earth and ultimately destroy certain natural cycles.
I guess she's just letting off some steam out and getting revenge.
):

Anyways,
I'm going back to study now.

Have exams on Monday. )):
Everyone should stay safe and keep warm.
Huggle up to your loved ones tonight and pray for those who are currently in unfortunate situations!

 package from lisa.
a little package arrived today in the mail ! :D
it was a package all the way from Canada sent by Lisa (a beauty guru on youtube) and i just couldn't wait to open it. heheh.
and BAM! it turn out to be the Balmbini palette from The Balm.
Lisa also left a note with the package and her handwriting is just so adorable!

I love the packaging of this palette! It's made out of cardboard but you can tell that it's very sturdy.
The packaging's very similar to the ones of 'Benefit'.
The palette comes along with all the "babies" of the most popular items from the balm including 2 blushes (in Downboy and HotMama), 1 highlighter (in Mary-Lou Manizer), 2 eyeshadows (in Insane Jane and Jealous Jordana), 1 lipstick (in Wanted) and 1 special edition gloss.
My favourite would have to be the the blusher in Downboy.
It's such a wearable matte blush that I believe would suit most light to medium skin tones.
Everything in the palette has really decent pigmentation and the powders are very fine.
And if anyone is looking for a dupe for Nars Orgasm, Hot Mama from The Balm would do just fine.
What is also good about this face palette is that it is formulated, FREE OF: parabens, sulfates, phthalates, GMOs and Triclosan. So you know you're not harming your skin!
However, I wasn't very pleased (you can say I was disappointed) with the Special Edition gloss as it appears to be of a muted coral beige in the package but is actually clear when swatched or applied to the lips.

- this palette retails for around US$30 (you can get it at sephora for $28)

anyways about my day..
mm I just went to school. nothing really happened there.
but one thing is that it's been super hot.
like.. hottest week in 150yrs and it's going to get hotter throughout the week.
not good... and what made it even worse was that I caught a cold.. in this 40'C heat!
grr.

 1st school day of 2011
Got my timetable. It's not very pleasant. Like literally.. on Mondays, I have 3hrs of nothingness.
I dislike how they put the compulsory subjects at the end of the day so that everyone has to stay at the school.
*sighhhh

Today was an easy day.. just assemblies and introductions to the new year.
However it was extremely hot!!! Like 37'C+ and out school doesn't have any fans so it was like an oven in the classroom.

Also, we received our diaries during period 4! They're so much more bulky and uglier than last year's. grr
Like literally 1/4 of it was filled with random/useless facts.. what a waste of paper. I would've been happier if it was just a normal diary with dated and lined pages as well as relevant space to date our work.

But yeah.. that was my day. Nothing much happened. Just had tuition for Chemistry with Anson an hour ago.. am I extremely tired. But I will push on!
Just like what Mr Morris said:

"Just because you go to a selective school, doesn't mean you automatically get high marks. The only advantage you have is that you're up against some of the most talented kids in the state, right in this room. Not you, but the people around you. Thus the only way to get there in the end, is to support each other and put your heads down, bums up and work hard for it."

As sad as that sounds. I truly agree.

 HAPPY NEW YEARS !
For NYE:
- went to RTA to register for a driver's license
oh and did I mention it was SUPERRR HOTTTT? Like nearly 40'C hot. And I was in a pair of skinny jeans and a black tshirt. = =;;
- went out and met up with Benson
- arrived at Green Box where Carl, Jess.W, Tin, Michelle, Selina, Howard, Cornelius and Brian were karaoke-ing
- ate dinner at SeoulRia with them and James Ruse peers
- after dinner, I bumped into Gerald, Izzy, Diana, Donna, Jeremy, Collin & Frank at the same restaurant
- made our way to Milson's Point, but everyone else went to Nrth Sydney instead so Carl, Tin, Joanne, Christine, Andrew, Benson & I all had to get on the next train to Nrth Sydney
- walked to Blues Point where the view was just exceptional and the bridge was right in front of us
- everyone set up the sitting spot near the ambulance outside the park as it was too crowded inside
- 9pm fireworks was bland
- some people left after the 9pm fireworks so we all sneaked into the park and got ourselves a spot rightttt infront of the bridge
- now we played the 3hr waiting game, during which Raymond and his gangster friends came to sit with us
- some of us fell asleep while the love birds were in their own little worlds
- 12am fireworks finally came and everyone stood up to watch - wasn't too great but it was still nice
this yr's theme was an opened hand. :D
- after that I had to rush home so Benson and I just left. The others stayed behind for the alkii and I think they were all crashing over at Cornelius' mansion. lols

Spring's coming. I can almost feel it.
I enjoyed the warmth of a late winter's day today.
..
The weather became drastically warmer after last night's late shower.
mm I guess 2010's winter is going to disappear as soon as it came.

Anyways hahahs. Something funny happened on the train this morning.
Some Asian FOB guy came up to me and asked for my number. He spoke in Mandarin and as I couldn't care less (since I was busy studying for my chemistry exam), I just said: "Excuse me?"
He tried to ask in English but failed miserably and ended up shamefully walking back to his "group". Everyone around laughed at this kid, at the end I kinda felt sorry for him but you can never help chuckling along with the rest of the crowd yourself.
We did some combustion experiment with burning twigs in chemistry class.. and now I smell like a smoker...
I also found out that my yr9 English teacher tutors at Pre Uni...
What else... OH! I got to flip through the Black Book for DFS's 50th anniversary. 12th person in the world to see it. Pretty funky huh? I think so too. ;)
OH! and Conan owes me lunch next Thursday!
That's pretty much it. Ciao~~

 K - K - Karate Kid.
Went to see Karate Kid with Janet, Joet and Chris today.
It was a decent movie, kind of cliche but nonetheless worth watching in ways.

Before the movie, we went to Galaxy world and played Gundam. I won a 2vs1 game against the guys, hahahs SHAME! But I accidentally left my novel "EMMA" on top of the machine and didn't realise it until after the movie had finished. Luckily someone turned it in at the counter so I was lucky enough to get it back. Also, I got soaking wet when I went back to obtain the novel. I swear, Sydney weather's so strange; it was full sunny when I went into the cinema and when I came out, it was pouring like no tomorrow.
Janet and I dogged the guys for a while and went to Chatime for some "girl to girl" D&M time, but it was soon interrupted by Chris's constant texts so we headed back to them as they went to grab food.

Around 4pm, Janet had to leave because she had a curfew and surprisingly Cici was finishing work so as the guys left, I stayed with Cici and we went to karaoke at Greenbox.

Cici

After the voice breaking 2hrs, Cici decided to go to her restaurant - "Chinatown Noodle King" located near Chinatown (hahahs) to grab some food. We ended up eating "霸王餐" there.
It's a very neat little shop and has an open kitchen. The food there is very decently priced, a very nice ambience - there's even a shelf full of mangas! and service and quality of food was excellent.
~ I still feel bad about not paying for that meal though. *sigh.

It was around 8pm and we decided to walk through the Friday night markets and towards Central station. It was super lively and as we strolled through the little street stands, the crowd just swallowed me in. Thus, I ended up holding Cici's hand through the whole walk out of Chinatown. - o -;;

Sydney nightlife

We rushed to the station thinking that the train was going to leave, but realised that it was alright to still catch the next train.

a series of firsts. do you remember yours?
HELLO HELLO HAPPY PEOPLE!
reporting on Sydney's weather:
It's been cold.. and cloudy.. and rainy and it just feels really gloomy these days.
And it's only AUTUMN! ~ unbelievable...
We're stuck in the midst of flus and sneezes while the rest of the world are in the prime time of smiles and sunshine.
- sad face -

I'm meant to be at my baby cousin's first birthday party today but instead, I'm stuck at home studying for my French exam that's due tomorrow.
She's turning one today and her parents, as rich as they are, is holding a hugeeee party for her.
hahahs. how nice. I bet she's going to be super pretty and super tall when she grows up.
since she's half European.. and her dad is like.. 2m? heh lucky girl ey? (:
as much as I want to be part of all the celebration and the meeting with renowned individuals that are currently attending the party, I have to think about myself and the situation I'm currently in..
Senior years is seriously really different.
I kinda regret that I didn't enjoy myself as much during my junior years now. *chuckles.
mm.. anyways I would just like to wish CHARLOTTE a very very HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY.
May your future years be full of happiness and love.
Anddddd that you'll grow up to be as beautiful, smart and successful as your mother.

♥♥♥

hahahs ..
mm yeah.. I'm failing miserably at staying focused..
and this is what I do to keep myself sane.
warning: KIDS! don't scribble in your notebooks like I do.

ANYWAYS. one more thing before I return to shoving my face inside my French textbook,
Do you guys remember your first birthday?
- cause for me, I've never celebrated my birthday until I was 9..
hahahs. Infact I didn't even know when my birthday was until I was 9.. funny thing huh?

heh. Alright then, back to hardcore studying.
Have a nice day guys.

 Chilly Weather ~
Tomorrow is April Fools Day and officially the last day of term 1.
Also on this same day, I am going to drop Physics in exchange for Legal Studies! Because I just cannot stand my physics teacher's attitude and his way of teaching anymore.
However since one term has passed, I'll have to catch up on three chapters of legal studies work during the two week holidays ~ Oh the joy...

THE CAMBRIDGE
LEGAL STUDIES TEXTBOOK

TERM ONE EXAMS ARE ALL OVER ! so I can relax a bit and not go crying in a hole because of overstressing ~
I have also received my student ID card today. I look stoned.

I.D ME

awful awful ~~ I just hate school photos. -o-;;

It's been raining for the past two days in Sydney as well.. even though it was so hot last week.
Now it's extremely chilly. Well for me anyways, since I cannot stand the cold.
My nails literally turn purple when I get cold.. Is that normal? o.o;

 FESTIVAL FAIL !
mmm the summer festival yesterday (06/02) was a fail as it was raining like the sky was gonna fall down on us.
BUT I did get the chance to see and meet some pretty spunky people ~ 8)
Janet and I stayed at the festival only for an hour and a bit; until the cosplayers arrived and we took a few photos and left drenched to the core. (See how dedicated we are!?)
It was nice seeing the traditional Japanese kimonos and cosplayers around but the weather just had to ruin a perfectly nice day. ):

One cosplay that I loved seeing because they cracked me up was the little Pac-Man group.

That was very creative of them ~ heh*

Here is a photo of the whole cosplay group.

I was hoping there would be more cosplayers but I guess the weather resulted in most of the people staying home. I mean there was high wind and heavy rain..
I was about to stay home as well but I was just so desperate to see Janet again that I couldn't stop myself.
And also the fact that i couldn't miss seeing the awesome cosplayers and Japanese culture fans in Sydney.
D:

Anyways after all that, Janet and I stopped at the restroom two times to dry ourselves up by using the hand dryer machines. Oh thank god they were there, or else we would've been wet for the whole day.
We then stopped at a nice little coffee shop and after ordering our drinks, we sat down and chit-chatted about everything that happened on the first week of school. I guess all that chatting took us around two hours so we were sitting in that same spot in the coffee shop the whole time.
- upload image tomorrow -
After that we went shopping and I bought a new refill of Shiseido Hair Treatment with a new bottle of DHC Oil Cleanser! (Gotta love those stuff; Highly Recommended ~ :D ) and also some cutesy stationery from , Morning Glory.
At last we stopped at ChaTime and bought ourselves a cup of milk tea. That shiz is seriously addicting!
The say ended in a sob and we hugged each other, said our goodbyes and that was pretty much our day ~
(:

 Hot and Sticky.
It's been raining for two days and since it's summer, it gets all hot and sticky...
how dreadful.
(;_・)

Also I had took a trip to the NAB bank today as the name on my account was "ANINIE" (all this time I didn't realise until now (O_O;)). The lady who was behind the window counter was extremely nice to me.. and I realised that she was the same lady that helped me opened my account - something fishy going on there ~ *hmm ( ̄へ ̄)

I'm now catching up on all the homework (since I've had tutor for most of this week so I didn't really get the chance to do them) and eating Pringles (it's true that once you POP, you cannot STOP ☆⌒(>。≪) ) and drinking hot tea and.... blogging !

Did I mention I went to Gloria Jeans today and bumped into Andrew.D ?
