So today was our second Valentine's Day together and it all began this morning when Benson surprisingly rocked up to my house in his new car and red P plates. It had turned out that he had passed his driver's license test and he wanted me to be his first passenger - also he had wanted to asap take me to places that are usually hard to get to via public transport. heheh he's so sweet - to the point where he burnt a specific CD with music just for me. > w <

After I had gotten ready, he told me that we were going to Bronte Beach and so I packed my bag, got the GPS going and set off to the sunny coast of Bondi/Bronte. However, I found out that I didn't have any sunscreen left, so we had to drive to the nearest supermarket to grab a bottle - I ended up going to BigW for the Neutrogena dry touch sunscreen with SPF30+ since to me, it feels better than any other sunscreen out there in the Australian market (I usually buy sunmilk from Japan as they dry clear and feels like nothing).
It became extremely sunny when we began our trip and the traffic wasn't so bad so we managed to get to our destination in under an hour (even though we did accidentally skip some directions from the GPS). After we arrived at the beach, we parked our car on the main hill which allowed for 1hr parking with the cost of $5.50 and this was like a 1min walk from the beach so it was alright.

We walked towards the little white shelters on the beach and started to put sunscreen on each other. After getting sun safe, we walked near where the lifeguard sat and put our stuff down before approaching the sea. But we soon found out that there were bluebottles washed up near the shore recently and so we had to be very careful to not get stung. Benson piggy backed me past the area where the most bluebottles were washed up on and after that we just ran across the wet sand with the waves and enjoyed our time in the sun. (:

Benson had started to get hungry near the time when our parking permit expired and so we decided to head towards Bondi Junction for lunch!
We parked our car inside Bondi Westfields as it was free parking for 2hrs and made our way to find a nice little restaurant to have some food. We ended up eating at Ichi-Ban Boshi and I ordered an Iced Coffee with Kimuchi Ramen while Benson ordered a Negumi? Ramen and an Iced Lemon Tea. The food was not too bad but Benson did complain that it was basically a huge bowl of just noodles with 1 piece of meat - even though the noodles have a very nice texture and the soup was fantastic! Also, the Iced Coffee did just taste like instant coffee with milk and ice - I preferred the Iced Lemon Tea a lot more.

After getting stuffed with ramen, we just walked around Bondi until the shops kinda started to close before we made our way home. Andddd that was basically how I spent my Valentine's Day. (:
Even though it's not the usual roses and dinner, I was extremely happy to see that Benson just went about his usual display of affection and surprises. hehe
Because to me, it means more than any bouquet, chocolate or bear as it proves that he knows who I am and what I prefer - as I have said before: "What makes the 365th day more special than the 1st? or the 273rd for that matter? It's only a measurement of time and if you love someone, it really shouldn't matter. Every second should be spent with affection and treasured with the same amount of significance as they are all experiences you have shared together." However, there is of course nothing wrong with celebrating Valentine's Day and Anniversaries, because in reality, us girls like to be showered with excess love and gifts - as long as we both enjoy ourselves and know what really matters. I'm no expert and to be honest I really am just bsing here but all I'm saying is that, no one should get caught up with measuring time and gifts - so if your special someone do forget a 'special day' (which I often do), don't get angry at them and just know that at that very moment, they might just be caught up in thinking of where to take you next to sweep you off your feet; just trying to make every moment you share together a memorable one. (:
hahahs I hope that didn't offend anyone but that is just how I operate and I am very thankful that Benson accepts this part of me. :D

Anyways.. I think this is getting a little too long and I'm just rambling on with boring non necessary talk.
So I'll leave you guys at that and hope everyone had as much fun as I did on Valentine's Day 2012!

I went to stratty with Janet today because we wanted to have some girl to girl, catch up, D&M time!
Anyways since I had my driving lesson at 10:30am to 12:30pm (no I didn't run anyone over and I'm actually a decent driver), we decided to meet at Strathfield Station at 2pm.
However, as I got on the train and walked up the stairs to take a seat, a random Asian girl started frantically waving at me - and it was only then that I realised that girl was Janet! hahahs. It was literally like fate brought us together. She didn't actually realise it was me until I took my seat as well. :3

It had started to rain after we got off our train and with an umbrella in hand, we made our way to Arisun for lunch - a Korean/Chinese restaurant that Janet usually eats in with her family. It took us a while to decide on what we wanted to eat but we ended up getting a Jajangmyun and a Seafood Fried Rice to share. It was cute how Janet had to speak Korean to the waiters every time we wanted something because I have always had an issue eating in the restaurants in Strathfield as I'm not Korean and I can't speak Korean so it's always extremely awkward trying to get my order straight and eating in comfort - anyone else feel the same? or is it just me. :S
We were given 3 side dishes - kimchi, pickled radish and onion as well as tea and when the black bean noodles came, Janet stirred it for us as she is the ultimate pro! We started to eat and it was until then that I found a string of hair in the kimchi... I kinda freaked out but didn't make a scene and just .. didn't really eat after that. hahahs. The restaurant itself was busy at all times and the interior was okay - not too bad. The meal ended up to be $23 but since I had the hair incident, I have been traumatised and don't think I'll ever go back there ever again.


After our meal, we decided to go for a coffee break and went to My Sweet Memories! Unfortunately, all their tables were filled so I suggested for us to go to Hello Happy! Once inside, Janet ordered our drinks in Korean again (heheh) and I got a Caramel Macchiato ($5) and Janet ordered a Flat White ($4). After our order, we just sat down and talked about life and things that mattered to us - sometime about the people around us - just basically everything that in some way would or have affected us.. hahahs. It was a very light hearted D&M session and incredibly, 3hrs flew by just like that. We're both people who like to just sit down in cafes and just chat and with so many things in common, we really don't run out of things to say so really, it was our way of spending time and having fun. (:
Oh btw, the caramel macchiato was actually very nicely presented and it tasted fantastic! Can never go wrong with Hello Happy and I have been a fan since yr11. :D


We left Hello Happy after realising that we had sat at that same spot on the orange couch for quite a while and after we exited the cafe, Janet took me to Moochi - a frozen yoghurt cafe that apparently everyone had been raving about. It was quite packed and we just rushed our order - Me: a watermelon yoghurt with mango pieces and Janet: a green tea yoghurt with blueberries for $3-4? The frozen yoghurt comes in a swirl, housed in paper cups with the real fruit pieces on the side for u to scoop and enjoy. Other than the fruit options, there were also gummi bears, cereals, chocolate and other nifty little sweets to fulfill your sweet tooth. The watermelon flavour wasn't very nice as it didn't have that authentic watermelon taste, but Janet's green tea yoghurt was actually like green tea ice cream so it tasted a lot better than mine.



We just ended up enjoying our dessert on the little plastic chairs outside the store and after we were done, we left and went towards Morning Glory to waste some time before heading home together. (:

Sydney's been having a very Cloudy/Rainy Summer... so I've also gotten quite sick lately therefore I've been mostly a hermit at home.. painting..


But today I decided to go out with Benson just to get some fresh air into my lungs.
mm I got to Central at around 2pm cause Benson had to go to tvb station to complain about his subscription beforehand. After we met up, we went to Chat Thai for brunch and as I've mentioned before, they've added new additions to the menu and most of the prices for the food increased by $1 but it's still good.
I had Yen Ta For - wide rice noodle with pork and seafood in a nice red looking salty soup - $10.90 and Benson had Chicken: Pad See Ew and Chilli Fried Rice for $9.90 and $11.90 respectively. We also ordered 6 Pork Skewers - $2 each.

After our very filling meal, we headed towards Pitt St Mall where we roamed around the shops and bought some stuff from Cotton On since we had a $30 gift card. Benson bought 2 T-Shirts and I just bought a plain Singlet. It was a funny experience since he told me to choose the prints for him and all I picked were shirts with the naked or partially naked girls on them. (:

We also found a new (kinda) food court inside Pitt St Mall! It's literally like.. the most expensive food court in Sydney.. but it was nearly empty when we got there.. o.o; It's basically like a hugeee, nicely decorated place with barely anyone eating there. Though this might have been because it was nearly 4pm? The restaurants there included but was not limited to: Chat Thai, Ding Tai Fung, Max Brenners and a really neat little dessert cafe in the middle which has really exquisite chocolate for sale.
Anyways as we finished walking around Pitt St Mall, we just went to Kinokuniya and sat down to chill with some Pokemon Mangas. Benson also bought some stuff from there while I got myself a few classics since they were only $9.95 each.

After that, we just both headed home as it was starting to get late.
As I got home, I found 2 packages! 1 from OzSale and the other from SaSa.
It turned out that my IHana 13 piece brush set ($75AUD; rrp $249AUD) and my Caudalie skincare set + other skin care stuff ($75.40USD) had arrived.
I'm super excited to try the stuff out and do a thorough review of the items because I've tried the mini set from IHana from a BrandsExclusive order before and it turned out to be fantastic! Super durable, amazingly soft, doesn't shed but did have a funny scent in the beginning- the hair are natural goat hair and handles are made out of natural hard lacquered wood; they also have a vegan 17 brush set. On the other hand Caudalie is a French skincare line that focuses their products around grapes as their products use the antioxidant power of grape seed polyphenols to provide skin protection against free radicals - I got nearly all their products for around $10 (rrp $30-40USD) each during the massive sale Sasa had on during CNY so I'm super happy about that deal.

Anyways, I have to go take my medicine and get some rest now...

I went to UNSW (University of New South Wales) this morning with Zahav, Angela, Benson, Irene, Roger, Maria and Mabel to collect our UNSW student cards. Benson and Angela was late so Zahav and I headed to Gloria Jeans for some iced coffee (since it was superrrr hot) before meeting up at eddy avenue bus stop!
When we arrived at UNSW, we had to walk a longgggg way up in the sun before reaching the office and was then redirected to the library. Once we entered the library, we were offered freebies by a guy and of course we took them! Inside were some pamphlets, a 2Gb USB and a cute highlighter wheely thing! (:
We all took turns to take our Uni Student Card photo and it turned out that because the lighting was so bad, everyone basically looked horrendous in their photo; especially the ones of Benson and Zahav's.


After leaving the uni, I headed to Sushi Hotaru under Kinokuniya (in the Galeries) with Angela n Zahav while the others went to Chat Thai downstairs in food court. The food there was mediocre and the space for the tables and seating were tiny, but since they had a deal where it was $3 a plate for any sushi train dish, we were okay with what we got.

Once we finished our food, Angela, Benson, Zahav and I left the others and went shopping. We didn't end up buying anything but had a nice drink at T2 - they mixed their Green Rose with some ice, rose petals, berries and passionfruit and it was DELICIOUSLY YUMMY! - should try it at home.
Oh and angela and zahav also got their hands moisturised at the LUSH store. (:
Then we went to starbucks in hopes of finding an air conditioned place to chill since we were just sweating nonstop in the summer heat, but people who weren't even drinking were bagging the seats so we walked out and went to Secret cafe.
We sat down on the outside tables and lounge and we each ordered a drink: me-affogato, Benson-peach iced tea, Zahav-strawberry milk shake, Angela-spring water and played big 2 and poker together.
Benson somehow tried to make the game more exciting by deciding who the winner was with the person who ended up with the most chips from poker set. Benson won the whole game of big 2, Angela left for home and then I played poker for the first time in my life and won every game! YAY!


Then we played a couple of games of pool and headed to Mappen across the road for dinner: udon, tempura and seaweed all under 10bux, hell yeah!

So today was the special day of 11/11/11!!! The day where you're meant to make your wishes all day longggg~
Anyways, bubbi and I decided to have a picnic at Pyrmont Point Park aka Pirrama Park!
We met up at Townhall and took the bus at York St with all our picnic goodies - Benson brought an esky and most of the food/drink and tools while I had the kite, sausages, drinks and other little stuff~ yeah he was really well prepared as always and I just appreciate how much effort he puts into our little outings all the time. <33
The weather turned out to be extremely good, like super sunny considering that it was raining for the past week.
We arrived at the park and the bus driver was extremely nice to tell us to enjoy our day when we were getting off. :3


They renovated the park since the last time I went with new children equipment area and fountain and all that good stuff so I was very excited to show Benson around. Also the reason why I chose this park was because you could see the Anzac Bridge and the Harbour Bridge! It's extremely well managed and you get grass, concrete, wharf and the sea, what more could you ask for?
Anyways we found a nice little shady spot with tables, benches, modern electric BBQs and water - basically just everything that we needed for a perfect picnic - and we started to set up our stuff to start cooking all the chicken we had. Bubbi was in charge of cooking the meat cause he thinks he's awesome with BBQs and I was helping to chop all the vegetable up!
The food took a while to cook but it was all good because we got to spend time each having a go at poking at the meat and all that fun stuff! There were a lot of pigeons trying to steal our food, they even went to the extent of stepping over the BBQ stove once we were done cooking....

So today was my 14th month with bubbi! hahahs and so he took me to one of his surprise outings again. yay!
It was extremely sunny when we arrived at the City at 12pm and in order to not let me know where we were going, he sent me off to buy icecream from Gelatissimo at Circular Quay while he bought the ferry tickets. I managed to pop his bubble and guessed that we were going to Taronga Zoo after I came back with the icecream. heheh


Anyways as we arrived at the wharf, we took the free shuttle bus up to the top entrance of the Zoo. We then bought our tickets and headed towards the reptile area. We ended up just trying to spot all the animals, almost like a where's waldo game because most of the reptiles would try to camouflage with the surrounding backgrounds. lols
OH! We also saw a Komodo Dragon feeding on a pig's leg. It smelt very bad but it was funny seeing it struggle to eat the huge piece of meat because we were voicing over what the reptile was thinking: "dude just stop looking at me. I'm just trying to eat" LOL! :D


When we finished looking at the reptiles, we saw a huge free running turkey on the fence and so I chased after it until it hid in the bush with another turkey. Unfortunately, Benson had to chase after me who was chasing after the turkey and people were staring like us as if we were freakos. :S
And so after that, we ended up in the giraffe area where I took a photo with the 2m tall baby giraffe statue. We also found out that I was around 166cm and Benson was 175cm. :DD
After giraffes, we went to see chimpanzees in display at the outside playground area. One was very aggressive and kicked the visitor glass that was shielding us away from the animals. It was literally like a ninja kick in the air and it made such a loud sound that everyone thought the glass was going to creak. Luckily it didn't and it only frightened some of the guests causing them to run backwards. hahahs.
We also tried to get a look at the male elephants but they were not on display. Instead I just took a photo of Benson and the tusk of the elephant who last stayed in the elephant temple.


Another area we visited after was the kids animal farm where we saw general farm animals like pigs, goats and chickens. But then we encountered rabbits and guinea pigs! :DDDD
There were even baby rabbits and guinea pigs!! x))


I got extremely hungry so we headed to the food court for something to munch on. Unfortunately it was already too late and all the food stores were closed. ):
Since it was nearly 5pm - the closing time of the zoo and we were both starving, Benson suggested that we head back to the City to grab food. And so, we headed out with the announcement from the zoo saying that they were gonna close. On our way out, we saw deer looking animals. The zoo has changed the display area since the last time I was at the zoo 2yrs ago as they covered the outer part of the fence with bamboo to stop people from getting too close to the animals. The "deers" were able to balance on the weirdest parts of a huge rock and we even saw one pushing another one out of its resting spot and then chasing after the other deer trying to flirt with it. hahahs.
And at the final part of the exit inside the souvenir shop, a seal was showing off and interacting with the guests behind the glass. It was quite a sight and he was very adorable.


As we arrived at the City, we headed towards Chat Thai for lunch/dinner and since it was nearly 6pm, they were full of people with a long waiting line. As we were waiting for our table, some ladies looked at the waiting list trying to figure out when they will get their table. Instead they read our "guest name" and was said out loud "WHO'S MIKE HUNT??" and we both giggled like little school girls. ((:
We finally got a table after around 30-45mins of waiting and had the "yummiest dinner everrr" quote Benson.O

So I went with Katharine.L to IMATS (SYD) today - we paid AUD$30 each for our tickets. We got to the exhibition centre at Darling Harbour at around 12:30pm and left at 3:30pm.


This year the known stores like MAC PRO, INGLOT, MAKE UP FOREVER (MUFE), ILLAMASQUA, NAPOLEON PERDIS and BEN NYE were there.
I manage to only pick up some stuff from Crown Brushes, Inglot and MUFE since most of the stores were full of people and that I didn't need much things since I'm no professional. I saw some people spending over AUD$600 in one counter and I went wide eyed. I know you can be a professional, but do you really need all that makeup? Since they do have expiry dates and all.. :S
Also the Illamasqua counter was very disappointing since I was planning to purchase some stuff there but all they had was a small table of leftovers... that was like 1/500 of their actual collection ):

Also I managed to meet Purse Buzz and Napoleon Perdis himself.
There were also some shows and people were being transformed for the contest which was pretty cool.
Overall it was a good experience but I'm still reconsidering about re-attending next year.

After we left the exhibition centre, we went to have lunch at Takeru where Benson turned up after we finished our food and then the weather got really awful rained on us, so we headed towards QVB Townhall where we ventured into Lush and bought some bath bombs.


And then I brought Katharine to the Pitt St Westfields while Benson went around to buy new leather shoes and we walked around until Katharine had to go home and then I met up with Benson again to go to Bryan.D's 18th birthday dinner at Wagaya.


After dinner, we went to have dessert at Meet Fresh and then I headed home!

I haven't been very happy recently so Conan's been nice enough to try to cheer me up.....
He suggested for me to go bowling with him and Warren cause we haven't hung out for a while.
So after maths tutor on Tuesday, he came to pick me up and drove me and Ando to Cooks Hill Hotel at Cabra.
There was a huge line and when I got there I was freaked out because it looked so shifty.
The security guard asked us if we were all 18 and the nine of us just said yes. LOL
So we went in and had dinner - everyone had steak and I had fish, and also we played pool.
I left like half of my food and so Warren said it was a waste and everyone just snatched the rest of the food from my plate. LOL.
Ananda finished his salad first.. and started eating everyone else's salad.... until I pointed it out to him in which he claimed that he liked the salad here.. but also bursted out saying FINE I'LL EAT THE STEAK. *angry face* hahahahs
Anyways after a few round of pool.. *I accidentally shot the black ball in SORRY!*
we drove our way to some bowling place at Fairfield... which also looked very shifty.
We ended up not playing because I had a curfew and had to get home before 10pm so everyone had to head home too... *sorry for ruining your night guys!
Butttt yeah. In the end, Conan apologised for making me feel uncomfortable throughout the night in which I said it was alright because he tried. And he then drove me and Ando homeeee~~~
mm I guess it cheered me up a bit seeing that everyone was trying so hard to help me fit in...
but yeah. I guess it's just up to me now to feel better about certain things..
not really helpingggggg........
Also, I just spent liek 500bux on my brothers today.. I mean yesterday since it is 2am now... I'm such a nice sister... lols. jks
hmmmm... guess I should go to sleep now.

I went to UNSW open day with Benson and my brother, Peter.
But they kinda left to engineering lectures while I went to the business info desks so afterwards while they were stuck inside their lecture, I bumped into Kevin Wu and we kinda caught up on things since I haven't really talked to him since he left mono which was in yr9.
To me personally, UNSW open day was more informative than any other open day.
After a while, I left with Peter to Ellen's Bday lunch! while Benson went with "the boys" to play soccer.



We ate at Musashi ~~ mmmmmm.... and karaoke at K1!



And finally, we finished the day with photos at Capitols~

As you guys all know, I went to the USYD Open Day today. (:
This time, i went with my brother Peter, my childhood friend Zahav and my bubbi Benson. But along the way, we met up with "the boys" - (Syd Boys like to call each other that i guess?), Benson's school mates and hung with them.
There was track work at the western line today so it made it more difficult to get around. grr.
So I planned to meet Zahav at the station and Benson at the university. But instead, Peter slept in so Zahav, tired of waiting, walked from the station to my house and met up with us along the way.
On the bus and train towards the university, we met a lot of familiar faces. Like people from school and tutor etc. And one of them was Shirley from economics tutor.
When we finally reached the university, Benson arrived eventually and Zahav ran off with Shirley to a Speech Pathology lecture. Benson and I decided that speech pathology wasn't our thing so we just walked towards the Economics lecture. When we got there, Howard and "the boys" came and we just went in together.
They didn't tell me things that I already didn't know so it wasn't very interesting for me. Half way through the lecture, Everyone in the group walked out except for me, Howard and friend- Benson and Peter went to the aeronautical lecture for me because I was interested in it.
After the lecture finished, the friend walked off and Howard and I just went to buy food cause we were hungry. I ended up paying $25 for 3 crappy sandwiches and 2 bottles of water. The water wasn't even from Mt Franklins or anything - for Benson and Peter as well of course.
We walked to a bench under a big tree next to the law building and had lunch there... awkward moment.... and after we finished, we decided to go find Benson. Along the way, we bumped into Carl and Dennis? and made our way towards Subway. Seeing it was full of people, we walked to the opposite cafe and they ordered a toasted sandwich and a lasagne respectively. Those costed less than the shitty sandwich I had and I just complained to Howard about how we could've gotten better food....
Benson, at this time was still playing with the flight simulator with my brother... and then when a little more boys came, Benson finally turned up with my brother. And then even more boys came and Benson, Peter and I just went to Subway. And then Zahav came back to us and he took me to the toilet. (:
When I came back, all the boys already went to game at net cafe, and only Carl and Dennis? stayed behind to wait for Ren. But Ren had some problems with her parents letting her to come out so we decided to leave USYD and go to City. :S
We all then took the bus to Townhall, to check what "the boys" were were up to. They were still at the game cafe and because non of us wanted to game, we just went to watch a movie. I suggested "Horrible Bosses" and so we watched it. It was a hilarious movie, dirty jokes, but it was good. I felt as if it was sometimes overdone, but it still kept me relatively entertained... not really towards the end, but the beginning and middle was okay. I mean, Carl and Dennis? literally ROFL'd. Like.. literally rolled off their chairs and onto the floor.
After the movie, "the boys" including Benson had to attend Corny's Birthday party (HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY!), so I took Zahav and Peter to dinner at Takeru.
Peter had a Ramen, I had an OmuSoba and Zahav, as white as he was, ordered a Spaghetti.
After dinner, we just went home because it was dark.
mm that was about it! Long and tiring day with lots of walking.
Didn't get much out of it (like always) and time passed so fast.
Sorry about not getting any photos though! My brother had my bag which had my camera in there so I didn't get to snap anything by the end of the day.
But yeah.. UNSW OPEN DAY NEXT SATURDAY ON THE 3RD OF SEPTEMBER.
I'll be there too and hopefully be able to get more out of it than the USYD one.

My brothers are currently off on a 4 day 3 night camp with mono and so I get to stay home with my parents all to myself.. YAY... ):
BUT ANYWAYS! It's actually 2am now so I guess this post is for yesterday, the 8th of July.
mm.. I had English tutor in the morning and then went out to City with dad to look for my new phone.
Getting the new Samsung Galaxy SII cause Peter (my first brother) got himself a HTC Desire HD too. ):
- The phone will arrive in a few days since my cousin works at the phone store and she's grabbing it for me.
Since most males get sick of looking around in shops, we just stopped at Starbucks for a cup of coffee.
Then mummy joined us, her and I just went shopping while my dad went to get his eyes tested by the Optometrist. :D
And then we had dinner at ChatTai in which I paid the bill. cause I'm so nice. LOL
But yeah. It felt so different without my two little brothers.
I miss them very very much though. Hope they're not freezing their a** off in bush and that they're eating enough. ):

Benson told me to meet him at Central station this morning for a date but when he arrived I was hungry so we went to ChatThai for brekky! I like to have things that are lightly flavoured but filling at the same time for breakfasts so yeah ~ Also, I need my daily serve of coffee so of course I had to grab a cup of Starbucks!

After breakfast, he took me onto a Hornsby train and told me not to look at the stations that we were going to pass because it was meant to be another one of his cute little surprises. It turned out that we were going to Macquarie Centre for ice skating and I was very happy that he brought me there since the last time I ice skated was a long 4years ago.
Macquarie charges $19 for students and the locker hire was $4. I guess it was decent but what I found with all the ice skating rinks were that they all look run down, almost like an old rusty school gym. Also, their skates were not very well maintained as some of the ones they gave to Benson were broken.With that aside, it was pretty good. Since it was Benson's first time ice skating, it took him some time to get used to sliding on ice. It was a little difficult at first as I had to get used to the ice as well (4 years is a long time) and most of the time, we just fell together because I was holding his hand when he wasn't holding the railing so when he wobbled, I would too and yeah.
But since he was a fast learner and I was an awesome teacher, he got the gist of ice skating pretty fast. lols.
But yeah. Ice skating is a great place to bring your dates because you get to be close to each other and fall down together. hahahs (not really) but yeah! It was good fun. (:
We finished the day with very bruised butts and he hurt his elbow but it was all worth it.


Did I mention that it was our 10 month?
I didn't know that today was the 5th since I don't tend to keep track of dates.
hahahs. Silly me.

Went to University of Sydney today for a chemistry kickstart workshop.
We had to pay $25 to do some experiments linked to the 'monitoring and management' topic which were too expensive to perform at school. Usually schools would just assume the results and learn about the experiments via textbooks but it was nice that we were able to get a first hand experience.

The course actually got pushed back by an hour which I wasn't very happy about and so all our experiments were done sloppily due to the time constraint. This also meant that the instructors had to skip certain explanations and procedures in the experiments which wasn't preferable, Luckily they supplied us with a booklet which had most of the information inside and we were very time efficient and managed to not make any mistakes during our experiments therefore was able to finish the pracs before the 2hrs we had inside the lab.

Also the equipments they had were very traditional and dated and the lab coats they gave us had pen*ses drawn on the back. But other than that, there's not much to complain about.
The instructors were very casual and nice, some were a little more socially inept than others but it was all good.

Overall it was an okay experience, but poorly managed.

I had 4U tutor this morning from 9:30 - 1130am but it went over time by an hour so ended up finishing at 12:30pm. Once I walked outside, Benson surprisingly was waiting for me the whole time in the sun. He then dragged me towards the station but i said "my house is on the other way". He was like "yeah I know, we're taking a detour" and kept walking with a cheeky smile on his face. On the train, he just kept complaining about how he had absorbed enough vitamin D for his whole lifetime as a way to stop me from asking where he was taking me.

But in the end, we arrived at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
We first went straight to the atm as i didn't expect to come here and so had no cash on me.
Then we went to have lunch! It was the crappiest and most expensive food i've ever eaten! It was extremely gross.. all burnt and oily and poorly presented. This was because the place had bad time management and there were a lot of people buying food. Like seriously! A packet of small chips was $6!! and a bottle of water was $4! even the atm surcharge was $3. =.=;

After that, we then bought coupons to go on the swing ride. Let me see.. $1 per coupon and a ride was like 6-7 coupons each... *cries
But it was still fun as I have liked this ride ever since i was little


We then headed for the animal displays and then found the lumberjack show.
And then we went to the game stalls in hopes of winning some big toys. But after wasting like $60, we ended up with a small Toad from Mario Bros. I gave it to Benson as I already have a lot of plushies and one more isn't gonna make a difference.


After that we just walked around and found the more "adult" rides and went on the ultra high swing! This time it was a 2 seater so Benson and I could sit next to each other. We went up so high that i ended up squeezing his hand very very tight. And then it swung around really fast.. and i screamed.
mm.. We walked around a bit more and then just left for home.
We were both very tired and our wallets were nearly empty. *sigh.
But still... the ride on the swing had made a deep impression on Benson as he has never been on it before and it is now one of his favourite rides as it enables him to hold my hand while going high up into the sky.

This evening Greg.L, our economics tutor invited us to go on a tutor outing where we all relax and have fun with the whole class at the City under the City nightlife!
We met up at 330pm at Strathfield station and took the train to Central together. While on the train, we had found out that Greg has forgot to book the restaurant for a table at Chat Thai and so we were all nervous about having to wait 2hrs for a table. But when we got there, the lady was nice enough to give us a table within 5mins because we had like 12 people with us.
I ordered a Chicken Padsiew and some pork skewers! YUMMMM! If you guys ever go to Chat Thai, you HAVE TO try their pork skewers. They are the most scrummiest yummiest entrees out!

After dinner, I led the way towards SECRET CAFE at Townhall where Greg had booked rm1 for 2hrs.
Inside the room, we started with a game of Jenga where I pulled out one of the most unstable pieces (yeah unlucky) but didn't manage to knock the pieces over. Everyone clapped after. hahahs.

mm we then played Pictionary and turned into a very intense game with the two oldest boys - Greg and Daniel (22-23) screaming their lungs out like little kids. We were split into teams of 4, and had a piece of paper each to scribble on. The group kept complaining about Secret being stingy and not giving us more paper to play with, even though we're paying them over a hundred dollars for 2hrs. hahahs. The game ended when we ran out of paper and when the boys started getting frustrated over the scores.

After that we went to play pool while the others played poker: Winston and I was against Daniel and Zahav; and we won! cause I managed to wipe the table in the end after Daniel wiped his balls first and then missed a shot. Overall it was a very good game.


The whole group then headed towards French Riviera and I shared a bowl of Icecream ($25) with Sam, Victoria, Winston and Zahav. It was horrible but Winston insisted on finishing it simply because it was 25bux.
mm During the process of enjoying our icecream Greg was just being the matchmaker and gossiping and teasing everyone in the class. The night closed with a photo near the icecream palour and overall it was a fun night!

MY EXAMS ARE OVERRR ! YAYYYYY !
Well actually, they were over since Monday afternoon so yes.. I have kind of neglected you for a few days blogger. I am truly sorry! ):
But my excuse is: I have been catching up on sleep. So please forgive me.

But anyways, I woke up at 10am from a text from Zahav. Since he only has only one extI maths lesson on Fridays, he has to go to school today. But when he got to school, he found out that his teacher was away.. so he went all the way to Parramatta for nothing. And so he raged his heart out to me on the phone.. while I was still half asleep. *sigh. Thank god I left that school. (:

After his little good morning call, I decided to go to the local post office to pick up some goodies! And grab breaky and a cup of coffee from Gloria Jeans.
mm.. and look what came in the mail for me! :D
I ordered 3 Calvin Klein bras which were all on major discounts. Originally priced RRP: AUD$209.85. I got them for a total of AUD$48 (inc. postage). I KNOW RIGHT! I basically saved a total of around AUD$160! So lucky to have found this seller. I assure you, these are all authentic Calvin Klein underwear. The reason they were so cheap was because these were her left over stock from her lingerie business. The seller also put an extra gift in the package without notifying me! She's just so sweet! hahahs.


mm what else.. I also recieved my HARVARD HOODIE from a seller in HongKong. It's so comfy and nice! (:


And on my way back, I also got carried away and bought a new pair of boots from Court Couture. ;)

We just had lunch/dinner at Cafe Cya and then he dragged me to Milsons Point.
And we ended up at Luna Park because he "apparently" promised me he'd bring me out on a date.
But yeah! It was nice. We watched the sun set together from the wharf. And since it was raining on the other side of Sydney, the sunset looked spectacular.



And we also left just in time before it stormed. ((:

- went to starbucks to wait for circus to start. half price frapps during happy hour (3-5pm) !!!!
- the moscow circus was the bomb !!! not really.. it had a very distinct plastic smell which bugged me throughout the show..



but benson was able to participate in the show since the clown came up to us and took him away from me. many asians came up to congratulate him on his excellent improvision after! :D
OH! and the circus chicks were all so fit and .. HOT! (;

I went to The Tea Room with my childhood friend Zahav (We have known each other for nearly 10yrs! Can you imagine that !?) @ Townhall QVB lvl 3 for High Tea Today.
Upon entry, the lady at the reception gave us a funny look which seemed like we were lost or something. But we told her we wanted a seat to have some tea, and she asked us, "you do know it's $37 each right?". We looked at each other and chuckled. Yes $37AUD is quite alright with us. So she took us in the Tea Room and helped us with the chairs and placed the napkin onto our laps. A man then came to us for the order and we chose the Traditional Afternoon Tea which comes with "A set selection of cakes and pastries, finger sandwiches, scones and preserve, tea or coffee".



While we waited for our food and tea, we both examined the room and figured out why the reception lady looked at us funny. The whole room was filled with classy ladies and gentlemen eating and chatting away and we were merely, just two teenagers looking for a place to drink tea. Also I found my Maths teacher sitting on a table socialising with more well educated others.
The food and tea was very well presented, tasted decent but I wouldn't say was worth anything near forty dollars. But then again, nothing in the QVB is worth that money.
The place had a very nice atmosphere where I was able to catch up with Zahav on little bits and pieces. But we both knew that we won't be coming back here until the next time where he has the urge to drink some "fancy tea" again. *chuckles

-went to Manly Waterworld today!



It's an aquarium, but Benson thought it was a funpark at first cause of the name. Since the tickets are rather cheap compared to the Sydney Aquarium which is located at Darling Harbour, the displays are not grand and there aren't as many colourful attractions. But I loved it more than the Aquarium because it was really relaxing and the fish there seemed like the type that loved attention and visitors. They're all get curious and come up to you when you go near the glass. - Unlike the boastful fish at the Aquarium which are all too used to tourists and humans.
One thing I have to point out is that.. I am now in love with the "mourning cuttlefish"!
They are just so adorable and irresistible. Like.. They'd follow your fingers when you put them against the display glass. Curious little creatures they are. But the sad thing is, most of them don't even live through their first birthday. ):
But yeah. Manly is quite pretty. Except the ferry ticket there is so expensive compared to a normal train ticket!

Went to Sydney Tower for the first time today, with Benson.
This was surprise no#5!
IT WAS AMAZING!
IT WAS LIKE I WAS ON TOP OF THE WORLDDDD ! (:

Anyways we then had lunch at the new Mappen Japanese Noddle place next to Pepperlunch!
Super cheap and nice food!

After that, we just went to Mong to watch "Secret", the Taiwanese movie with Jay Chou in it.
It kinda freaked me out.. cause I thought the girl was a ghost. = =;
but it was a good movie!
